My name is Jay Stokes, and I spent 12 years in the Army as a generator mechanic, along with over 20 years of hands-on experience in the automotive world. I’ve worked on everything from custom builds, classics, and restorations to high-performance race engines, with a strong focus on the off-road industry here in North Idaho, including building top-tier Jeeps and top tier builds on Jeeps, customizing off road vehicles, and setting up overland vehicles at Cutting Edge Customs in Post Falls, Idaho. What I’m most passionate about, though, is teaching—helping people save money, work safely on their vehicles, and gain the confidence to understand and solve problems on their own.
